H1N1

I just found out that our medical faculty at Monash will be closed for a week due to a case of H1N1. My coursemate, S, is in hospital now, let's pray that she'll get well soon.

I was just telling my housemates and friends yesterday that I was hoping Monash will NOT have to close for a week, because my timetable will get so screwed up! I mean, for the business school people who have 15 hours a week, its all fine and dandy. But for us meddies, 30++ hours a week lerh! Want us to replace on weekends and public holidays meh? Or worse still, during our mid sem break.

I just called mom and told her not to book my tickets to Beijing for the coming mid-sem break. Just in case Monash might want us back for classes. Sigh! Its gonna be a family holiday without me, again! :(

H1N1 has struck so close to home. I remembered talking to S briefly just this week. Hopefully I won't kena H1N1. Let's keep our fingers crossed and pray no one else in med fac gets H1N1 too.
